Step 1

The vehicle position is provided by the GPS Satellite system to the Navman Halo or Qube fitted in the vehicle.

The Navman Halo or Qube Unit communicates this information to the Navman OnlineAVL Server.

Step 2

The Vodafone GPRS Network manages the communication between the vehicle and the Navman OnlineAVL Server via the Internet.

Two Way text messaging is also sent the same way.

Step 3

The Internet provides the means of transferring the vehicle information to and from the customers office computer.

Office computers display the vehicle information in real time, using Navman's OnlineAVL software.
