Bowmonk exhibiting at the CV Show 2023 stand 4B30

Bowmonk Tapley will be demonstrating BrakeCheck – the popular DVSA-approved portable brake tester for recording and printing brake test results.  BrakeCheck is fully approved for interim safety inspection brake tests and for the 3-monthly voluntary brake test.  The new BrakeCheck Geo, with built-in GPS so that the exact location of the brake test can be recorded, will also be on the stand.

Also on display is our newly developed i-PDM (intelligent Power Distribution Module) a device used to replace conventional relays and fuses in a vehicle electrical system making OEM / retrofit electrical system an ease to fit and maintain.

Bowmonk’s on-board weighing division goes from strength to strength, and now caters for all vehicles from 3.5t to 44t, with either air, mechanical or mixed suspension.  Visitors to the stand will be able to see a live demo of Bowmonk’s on-board weighing system, including a Bluetooth link to a nearby smartphone for single-man loading or electronic recording of weight data.  Bowmonk’s weighing systems are also able to send weight data to various third-party telematics systems – including TomTom Webfleet and, via the T5 EDR, our Intelligo cloud reporting solution.

Other diagnostic products on display will include SensorCheck, for quickly diagnosing ABS-related faults without having to remove the road wheel, and TrailerCheck which allows single-man testing of trailer lighting, ABS circuitry and CAN activity.

Bowmonk’s In-CarPC division will be showing a range of 5G/4G Wi-Fi routers, which can utilise high-gain external antennas to offer a reliable source of internet connectivity, especially in more remote locations.
