Heidelberg Materials are transitioning to in-house brake testing on all their non-road mobile machinery to coincide with their scheduled safety inspections, as it is proving to be a considerable financial saving when compared to the cost of 3rd party site visits. It also offers complete flexibility as the tests can be performed at their convenience.
Heidelberg are also subscribing to our site-based comprehensive training sessions, the culmination of which is a Certificate of Competence for all attendees.
In addition to braking efficiency, the BrakeCheck4Quarries kit will detect and left/right braking imbalance. The cause of a severe imbalance can be diagnosed using the laser temperature gun, pointing at each wheel hub to determine the temperature.
To complement this operation, we also offer a computer aided brake test download option for loading the test results on to a PC for safe keeping or sending internally to another department.
