This policy applies to purchases from Bowmonk Ltd under any of our trading names: Bowmonk, In-CarPC, SmartWeigh and Techeonix. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

Always contact us before sending anything back. Call +44 (0)1603 485 153 or email [email protected] and we will give you a returns reference and confirm the process. Returns sent without a reference may be delayed.
1.1As a goodwill gesture, business customers may return standard stock items within 14 days of delivery, provided the goods are unused, complete and in their original undamaged packaging.
1.2A restocking fee of 15% of the price of the returned goods applies. You pay the return carriage, and the goods travel at your risk until we receive them. We recommend insured, tracked carriage.
1.3The refund, less the restocking fee and less the original delivery charge, is made to your original payment method within 14 days of the goods passing our inspection.
1.4This goodwill window does not apply to built-to-order goods, software, services already performed, calibrations or special-order items. See section 4.
2.1If you buy as a consumer online, by phone or by email, you may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day after you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods. Tell us within that period by phone, email or post; a clear statement that you wish to cancel is enough.
2.2You then have 14 days to send the goods back to us at your own cost. The goods travel at your risk, so we recommend insured, tracked carriage.
2.3We refund the price and the standard delivery charge (not any premium delivery upgrade) within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of receiving evidence that you have sent them, whichever is earlier, using your original payment method. We may reduce the refund if the value of the goods has been reduced by handling beyond what is needed to inspect them, for example use, installation or missing packaging.
2.4The cancellation right does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, including built-to-order PCs, or to services you asked us to complete within the cancellation period once fully performed.
2.5Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
3.1If your goods arrive damaged, or items are missing, contact us straight away. Business customers must report visible transit damage or shortages within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs where possible, after which the goods are treated as delivered complete and in good condition. Consumers’ statutory rights are unaffected.
3.2If a product fails within 30 days of delivery, we treat it as dead on arrival. Contact us for a returns reference; we will prioritise the repair or replacement and cover carriage both ways. If you are a consumer, you may instead reject faulty goods within 30 days for a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
3.3If a product fails later, within its warranty period, our warranty applies as set out in section 11 of our Terms and Conditions. Warranty service is return to base: you pay the carriage to us, and we pay the return carriage after a valid warranty repair or replacement.
3.4If we sent you the wrong item, we will put it right at no cost to you and cover carriage both ways.
3.5The warranty does not cover misuse, accident or damage, units that have been opened or repaired by anyone else (opening a BrakeCheck or DuroBox voids its warranty), brake testers without an in-date calibration, wear items or cosmetic damage. Full details are in section 11 of the Terms and Conditions.
4.1Unless faulty, the following cannot be returned: built-to-order goods, including In-CarPC vehicle PCs and configured Techeonix automation PCs and operator panels; services already performed, including calibrations, repairs, remote installations and on-site installation work; special-order items we do not normally stock, where we told you this when you ordered; and goods that have been used, installed in a vehicle, or returned incomplete or without their original packaging, where we may refuse the return or reduce the refund.
4.2SmartWeigh systems that have been installed on a vehicle cannot be returned for change of mind, because each system is calibrated to the specific vehicle. Faults are covered by the warranty.
5.1Contact us first on +44 (0)1603 485 153 or [email protected]. Tell us your order number and the reason for the return. We will issue a returns reference and confirm anything specific to your product.
5.2Pack the goods securely, ideally in their original packaging, include the returns reference, and send them to: Returns, Bowmonk Ltd, Diamond Road, Norwich, NR6 6AW, United Kingdom.
5.3Before returning any PC or unit containing storage, back up your data. We are not responsible for data on returned units, and drives in replaced units are securely wiped.
7.1If anything here is unclear, or your situation is not covered, call us on +44 (0)1603 485 153 or email [email protected] and we will help.
